126. http://www.apache.org/licenses/
127. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE, REPRODUCTION, AND DISTRIBUTION
128. 1. Definitions.
129. "License" shall mean the terms and conditions for use, reproduction,
130. and distribution as defined by Sections 1 through 9 of this document.
131. "Licensor" shall mean the copyright owner or entity authorized by
132. the copyright owner that is granting the License.
133. "Legal Entity" shall mean the union of the acting entity and all
134. other entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common
135. control with that entity. For the purposes of this definition,
136. "control" means (i) the power, direct or indirect, to cause the
137. direction or management of such entity, whether by contract or
138. otherwise, or (ii) ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the
139. outstanding shares, or (iii) beneficial ownership of such entity.
140. "You" (or "Your") shall mean an individual or Legal Entity
141. exercising permissions granted by this License.
142. "Source" form shall mean the preferred form for making modifications,
143. including but not limited to software source code, documentation
144. source, and configuration files.
145. "Object" form shall mean any form resulting from mechanical
146. transformation or translation of a Source form, including but
147. not limited to compiled object code, generated documentation,
148. and conversions to other media types.
149. "Work" shall mean the work of authorship, whether in Source or
150. Object form, made available under the License, as indicated by a
151. copyright notice that is included in or attached to the work
152. (an example is provided in the Appendix below).
153. "Derivative Works" shall mean any work, whether in Source or Object
154. form, that is based on (or derived from) the Work and for which the
155. editorial revisions, annotations, elaborations, or other modifications
156. represent, as a whole, an original work of authorship. For the purposes
157. of this License, Derivative Works shall not include works that remain
158. separable from, or merely link (or bind by name) to the interfaces of,
159. the Work and Derivative Works thereof.
160. "Contribution" shall mean any work of authorship, including
161. the original version of the Work and any modifications or additions
162. to that Work or Derivative Works thereof, that is intentionally
163. submitted to Licensor for inclusion in the Work by the copyright owner
164. or by an individual or Legal Entity authorized to submit on behalf of
165. the copyright owner. For the purposes of this definition, "submitted"
166. means any form of electronic, verbal, or written communication sent
167. to the Licensor or its representatives, including but not limited to
168. communication on electronic mailing lists, source code control systems,
169. and issue tracking systems that are managed by, or on behalf of, the
170. Licensor for the purpose of discussing and improving the Work, but
171. excluding communication that is conspicuously marked or otherwise
172. designated in writing by the copyright owner as "Not a Contribution."
173. "Contributor" shall mean Licensor and any individual or Legal Entity
174. on behalf of whom a Contribution has been received by Licensor and
175. subsequently incorporated within the Work.
176. 2. Grant of Copyright License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
177. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
178. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
179. copyright license to reproduce, prepare Derivative Works of,
180. publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the
181. Work and such Derivative Works in Source or Object form.
182. 3. Grant of Patent License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
183. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
184. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
185. (except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made,
186. use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work,
187. where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable
188. by such Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their
189. Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s)
190. with the Work to which such Contribution(s) was submitted. If You
191. institute patent litigation against any entity (including a
192. cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
193. or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct
194. or contributory patent infringement, then any patent licenses
195. granted to You under this License for that Work shall terminate
196. as of the date such litigation is filed.
197. 4. Redistribution. You may reproduce and distribute copies of the
198. Work or Derivative Works thereof in any medium, with or without
199. modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that You
200. meet the following conditions:
201. (a) You must give any other recipients of the Work or
202. Derivative Works a copy of this License; and
203. (b) You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices
204. stating that You changed the files; and
205. (c) You must retain, in the Source form of any Derivative Works
206. that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
207. attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
208. excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
209. the Derivative Works; and
210. (d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
211. distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
212. include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
213. within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
214. pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one
215. of the following places: within a NOTICE text file distributed
216. as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
217. documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
218. within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
219. wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents
220. of the NOTICE file are for informational purposes only and
221. do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
222. notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
223. or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
224. that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
225. as modifying the License.
226. You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
227. may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
228. for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
229. for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
230. reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
231. the conditions stated in this License.
232. 5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
233. any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
234. by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
235. this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
236. Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
237. the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
238. with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
239. 6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade
240. names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor,
241. except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the
242. origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.
243. 7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or
244. agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
245. Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
246. WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
247. implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions
248. of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A
249. PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the
250. appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
251. risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.
252. 8. Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory,
253. whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
254. unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
255. negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
256. liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
257. incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
258. result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
259. Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
260. work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
261. other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
262. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
263. 9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
264. the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
265. and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
266. or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
267. License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only
268. on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf
269. of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify,
270. defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability
271. incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason
272. of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.
273. END OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

312. Comment from
313. <a href="http://iphonedevwiki.net/index.php/Crack_prevention">iPhone Dev Wiki
314. Crack Prevention</a>: App Store binaries are signed by both their developer
315. and Apple. This encrypts the binary so that decryption keys are needed in order
316. to make the binary readable. When iOS executes the binary, the decryption keys
317. are used to decrypt the binary into a readable state where it is then loaded
318. into memory and executed. iOS can tell the encryption status of a binary via the
319. cryptid structure member of LC_ENCRYPTION_INFO MachO load command. If cryptid is
320. a non-zero value then the binary is encrypted.
321. 'Cracking' works by letting the kernel decrypt the binary then siphoning the
322. decrypted data into a new binary file, resigning, and repackaging. This will
323. only work on jailbroken devices as codesignature validation has been removed.
324. Resigning takes place because while the codesignature doesn't have to be valid
325. thanks to the jailbreak, it does have to be in place unless you have AppSync or
326. similar to disable codesignature checks.

400. Apache License
401. Version 2.0, January 2004
402. http://www.apache.org/licenses/
403. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE, REPRODUCTION, AND DISTRIBUTION
404. 1. Definitions.
405. "License" shall mean the terms and conditions for use, reproduction,
406. and distribution as defined by Sections 1 through 9 of this document.
407. "Licensor" shall mean the copyright owner or entity authorized by
408. the copyright owner that is granting the License.
409. "Legal Entity" shall mean the union of the acting entity and all
410. other entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common
411. control with that entity. For the purposes of this definition,
412. "control" means (i) the power, direct or indirect, to cause the
413. direction or management of such entity, whether by contract or
414. otherwise, or (ii) ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the
415. outstanding shares, or (iii) beneficial ownership of such entity.
416. "You" (or "Your") shall mean an individual or Legal Entity
417. exercising permissions granted by this License.
418. "Source" form shall mean the preferred form for making modifications,
419. including but not limited to software source code, documentation
420. source, and configuration files.
421. "Object" form shall mean any form resulting from mechanical
422. transformation or translation of a Source form, including but
423. not limited to compiled object code, generated documentation,
424. and conversions to other media types.
425. "Work" shall mean the work of authorship, whether in Source or
426. Object form, made available under the License, as indicated by a
427. copyright notice that is included in or attached to the work
428. (an example is provided in the Appendix below).
429. "Derivative Works" shall mean any work, whether in Source or Object
430. form, that is based on (or derived from) the Work and for which the
431. editorial revisions, annotations, elaborations, or other modifications
432. represent, as a whole, an original work of authorship. For the purposes
433. of this License, Derivative Works shall not include works that remain
434. separable from, or merely link (or bind by name) to the interfaces of,
435. the Work and Derivative Works thereof.
436. "Contribution" shall mean any work of authorship, including
437. the original version of the Work and any modifications or additions
438. to that Work or Derivative Works thereof, that is intentionally
439. submitted to Licensor for inclusion in the Work by the copyright owner
440. or by an individual or Legal Entity authorized to submit on behalf of
441. the copyright owner. For the purposes of this definition, "submitted"
442. means any form of electronic, verbal, or written communication sent
443. to the Licensor or its representatives, including but not limited to
444. communication on electronic mailing lists, source code control systems,
445. and issue tracking systems that are managed by, or on behalf of, the
446. Licensor for the purpose of discussing and improving the Work, but
447. excluding communication that is conspicuously marked or otherwise
448. designated in writing by the copyright owner as "Not a Contribution."
449. "Contributor" shall mean Licensor and any individual or Legal Entity
450. on behalf of whom a Contribution has been received by Licensor and
451. subsequently incorporated within the Work.
452. 2. Grant of Copyright License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
453. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
454. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
455. copyright license to reproduce, prepare Derivative Works of,
456. publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the
457. Work and such Derivative Works in Source or Object form.
458. 3. Grant of Patent License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
459. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
460. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
461. (except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made,
462. use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work,
463. where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable
464. by such Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their
465. Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s)
466. with the Work to which such Contribution(s) was submitted. If You
467. institute patent litigation against any entity (including a
468. cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
469. or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct
470. or contributory patent infringement, then any patent licenses
471. granted to You under this License for that Work shall terminate
472. as of the date such litigation is filed.
473. 4. Redistribution. You may reproduce and distribute copies of the
474. Work or Derivative Works thereof in any medium, with or without
475. modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that You
476. meet the following conditions:
477. (a) You must give any other recipients of the Work or
478. Derivative Works a copy of this License; and
479. (b) You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices
480. stating that You changed the files; and
481. (c) You must retain, in the Source form of any Derivative Works
482. that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
483. attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
484. excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
485. the Derivative Works; and
486. (d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
487. distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
488. include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
489. within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
490. pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one
491. of the following places: within a NOTICE text file distributed
492. as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
493. documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
494. within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
495. wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents
496. of the NOTICE file are for informational purposes only and
497. do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
498. notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
499. or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
500. that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
501. as modifying the License.
502. You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
503. may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
504. for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
505. for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
506. reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
507. the conditions stated in this License.
508. 5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
509. any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
510. by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
511. this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
512. Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
513. the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
514. with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
515. 6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade
516. names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor,
517. except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the
518. origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.
519. 7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or
520. agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
521. Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
522. WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
523. implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions
524. of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A
525. PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the
526. appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
527. risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.
528. 8. Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory,
529. whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
530. unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
531. negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
532. liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
533. incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
534. result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
535. Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
536. work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
537. other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
538. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
539. 9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
540. the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
541. and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
542. or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
543. License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only
544. on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf
545. of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify,
546. defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability
547. incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason
548. of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.
549. END OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
550. APPENDIX: How to apply the Apache License to your work.
