Its office, Peter Moore, stated: "It is vital that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be hazardous.

"These types of items being sold, usually online, have gone through no quality assurance and there can be no guarantee about their security.

"You simply do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More notably, you do not know the result drugs like this might have on your health."
